Here at Giesen, we love nothing more than baking lovely cakes, breads, sponges, muffins and loads of other delicious things! We’re really keen on silicone bakeware because it’s so much better than old-fashioned baking tins- silicone baking moulds have truly revolutionised home baking!!
Silicone bakeware has many advantages over traditional tin baking trays and moulds. For a start, it is a lot easier to use and store because it is flexible- I can fit about 12 moulds into a small drawer in my kitchen- and the flexibility of the moulds make it really easy to get cakes and sponges out of the moulds without breaking them. We also love that our bakeware moulds are oven-proof, dishwasher-proof, freezer-proof and microwave safe- there really isn’t anything they can’t do!
Silicone is ‘non-porous’ which means that it doesn’t absorb smells, colours or oils from whatever you’re cooking, and does not deteriorate or rust, so your Giesen silicone baking moulds will last forever (ok, maybe not forever, but not far off!).
